Research interests

My laboratory studies the genetics, regulation, mechanism, and consequences of human DNA repair. We primarily focus on the role of DNA repair in the pathogenesis of cancer and HIV infection as well as the role of DNA repair in accurate meiotic chromosome segregation and fertility. We work with a collection of over 50 human DNA repair genes using state-of-the-art biophysical, genetic, and cellular methods.
