Research interests

Research area: Since cancer and autoimmune diseases reflect opposite states of immune response, we are interested in how innate and adaptive immune systems are compromised during the occurrence of autoimmune disease and/or cancer. Specifically, we are focused on the alterative interactions between monocytes/dendritic cells (DC), natural killer cells (NK) and T cells during disease development. The study will facilitate the design of a novel, efficient immunotherapeutic strategy for cancer and autoimmune diseases.
