Research interests

We are interested in interactions occurring between the pathogenic Neisseria and their sole human host. Specifically, we are elucidating the signaling pathways and the host and bacterial responses initiated with infection, how neisserial and host constituents contribute to and subvert these responses to potentiate infection, and the efficacy of innate defense mechanisms in neisserial killing.
