Research interests

Our research is focused on the mechanisms underlying polarized targeting of ion channels in neurons, and related neurological disease. Currently, we are investigating the roles of cytoskeleton-associated proteins in potassium channel axonal-dendritic targeting, and how myelination regulates axonal ion channel targeting and function, using molecular biology, cell biology, neuronal culture, imaging techniques and animal model.
