Research interests

Research area: My research interests focus on the neural development, regeneration, and survival of cells in the retina. In particular, I am studying neural stem cells that are found at the peripheral edge of the retina or those that are derived from the major type of glial cell in the retina, the M?ller glia. I am investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms that control the proliferation and differentiation of neural precursors in the developing and mature retina.
